About the artist
Judith Galiza
Judith Galiza was born in Ourense in 1976, daughter and pupil of the Galician watercolourist Xavier Galiza, and studied painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Pontevedra. She worked in audiovisual communication and sports marketing until 2014, when she turned to painting full time. She paints abstract landscapes and blurred cities in acrylic and oil, with brush and palette knife, layering, dripping and splattering. Her work is held in galleries and private collections in Spain, Portugal and the United States.
