BOLD & QUIET

Bold & Quiet is a group exhibition featuring works by Covella, Fernanz, Halley, Taisuke Kinugasa, Okova, Melkio, José Manuel Reyes, Toni Bardet, Xavi Carbonell and Helder Batista
The exhibition presents a selection of contemporary paintings and sculptures that explore contrast in visual intensity. Some works are defined by strong color, dynamic composition and immediate visual impact, while others are more restrained, focusing on balance, surface and subtle variation. The show does not present these approaches as opposites, but as different positions within a shared visual language.

Across the selection, painting is used to explore color, gesture and composition in varied ways. In some works, color is used to create movement and presence, while in others it defines structure and atmosphere with greater subtlety. Sculptural works in the exhibition introduce a physical dimension to this dialogue, where form, material and space become central elements of expression.

Rather than following a single narrative, Bold & Quiet brings together different artistic approaches that reflect the diversity of contemporary practice. The exhibition focuses on how artists use visual language to construct presence, rhythm and balance, whether through intensity or restraint.
