ARTWORK DESCRIPTION

In Vermont, Morang captures the serenity and strength of rural landscapes, where forests and mountains merge with the warm light of autumn. Each piece balances tradition and modernity: bold brushstrokes and the alla prima technique allow colors to blend directly on the canvas, creating textures that evoke the vitality and movement of nature. Warm, earthy tones invite the viewer into landscapes that are at once intimate and monumental, recalling the richness of the land and the memory of classical art, reimagined with contemporary sensitivity.

  • Morang

Morang is a bridge between the old and new. She adopts techniques from classic art and introduces modern twists. Her large pieces are meticulously planned, starting with a basic sketch. She often paints with warm, earthy tones and isn't afraid to use bold strokes to depict nature and movement. The "alla prima" or wet-on-wet technique is her favorite, allowing her to mix colors directly on the canvas.
