About the artist

Alfredo Candela

Alfredo Candela trained at the School of Fine Arts in Alcoy and then in Valencia, where marine subjects became his main territory alongside flowers and landscape. His command of warm and cool tone gives his seascapes a luminosity that is difficult to fake, and he is still studying at the University of Valencia to keep refining it. He has shown constantly in group exhibitions since the start and held his first solo show in 1981.
