About the artist
Manel Alba
Manel Alba was born in Valencia in 1990. Space sits at the center of his pictorial language, built around a close study of the relationship between void and presence. Working with color and gesture against open, unmarked ground, he treats negative space as an active presence, inviting the viewer to slow down and find depth within simplicity.
