Un limón, medio limón captures the quiet freshness of a simple tabletop scene bathed in warm daylight. Through his use of mixed media, Alberto Márquez constructs the composition with subtle layers of color and texture that give the lemons a natural presence and weight. Their vibrant yellow tones stand out against the softer hues of the table, while the light—suggestive of midday drifting toward afternoon—spreads gently across the surface. The delicate balance of brightness and shadow enhances the sense of calm, turning this modest arrangement into a luminous study of color, light, and everyday beauty.
