Batista's use of oil paint allows him to achieve a luminous quality, with hues ranging from soft pastels to bold, saturated tones, creating a visually captivating composition.

While the subject matter may seem straightforward at first glance, Batista infuses his portrayal of flowers with layers of symbolism and meaning. Through his expert handling of light and shadow, he imbues the blooms with a sense of vitality and movement, inviting the viewer to contemplate the fleeting beauty of nature and the cycle of life.
