In this vibrant abstract composition, Fernanz builds a dense visual landscape through overlapping gestures, expressive brushwork and spontaneous splashes of colour. Soft pinks, yellows, greens and blues move across darker passages, creating a striking balance between energy and depth.

The work rewards close observation, revealing new forms, rhythms and contrasts within its layered surface. Both playful and intense, it reflects Fernanz’s instinctive approach to painting and his ability to transform colour and movement into an immersive visual experience.

About the artist

Fernanz

Fernanz committed to abstraction early and it has been the centre of his career ever since. His work is built on strong colour, hard contrast and brushwork that does not hesitate, with movement in every part of the canvas. He paints in several layers with a matte finish, mixing oil, acrylic, ink, gouache and pencil as the piece requires. Self-taught and still researching, he also trained with some of the best art teachers in Alicante.
