About the artist
Francisco Casas
Francisco Casas paints hyperrealist still lifes in oil, on canvas and on wood, working at a small scale and returning often to shells and origami. His command of tone and light is extraordinary, and he handles it with a simplicity that hides the difficulty. He has been awarded several prizes and has exhibited in Seville, Valencia, Alicante and Palma de Mallorca.
