About the artist

Nuria Garcia Miró

Nuria Garcia Miro is the daughter of two artists, Nuria Miro and Antonio Garcia Soler, and grew up surrounded by their work. After years in marketing and design she took what she calls a leap of faith and turned to painting full time, and the leap became her subject. Her Jump With Me series paints cascades of water with hundreds of small figures caught mid-jump, in mixed media that combines clean geometric shapes, organic forms and small sculptural elements on the surface.
