About the artist
Belang
Belang built her technique herself, drawing on master painters and years of workshops, and the result is instantly recognisable: bold brushwork, saturated colour and a strong sense of movement. She works alla prima with pure colour on canvases she prepares herself, and takes on large-scale commissions only. Her current work is inspired by the natural world. Her paintings hang in private galleries across Europe.
