This is a home shaped by light, proportion and a strong sense of luxury design. Double-height windows open the interiors to the daylight, while stone, wood and natural textures give the rooms a quiet, understated warmth. The art follows the same considered approach. Rather than bringing together many different voices, the owners chose to live with a selection of works by Angela Carli, allowing her pieces to appear naturally throughout the house. Her portraits sit particularly well within the architecture. Layers of vintage newspaper, loose drips of paint and flashes of colour give the works a tactile quality, bringing energy to the rooms without competing with their calmness. Seen from one space to another, Carli's works feel less like individual additions and more like part of the house itself, a recurring presence that gives the interiors personality, colour and a subtle sense of connection.
