Pierre Gimenez

Pierre Gimenez is an artist of Spanish origins born in 1950. He studied at the School of Fine Arts where he learned sculpture on wood, metal and stone. It was during this period that he met Jean Marais. The artist was impressed by the work of young Gimenez and encouraged him to continue working on this field.

Specialized in bronze sculpture, Pierre Gimenez does a great work on the curves and the round shapes. His pieces are refined, and the product of a real quest for aesthetic perfection. The women which he loves representing so much are voluptuous and sensual. The warm colors of the southern lands and the Iberian landscapes inspire his sculptures of bulls as well. Just like his own personality, his work is passionate and generous.

Pierre Gimenez regularly exhibits his work in Saint Tropez (France) and abroad. His creations are part of numerous private collections.
